Two ways to earn without a calendar
Neighbourhood classes rarely fit a fixed schedule. These are for the times they do not.
Anytime classes
Turn Anytime on for any class and students can ask you to run it at a time that suits them, instead of waiting for you to post a date.
- 1.A student proposes a date, a time and how many of them there are. You get a notification and an email.
- 2.Say yes to their time, suggest a different one, or decline with a reason. Nothing touches your calendar until you do.
- 3.They pay, and it becomes an ordinary class - roll call, reminders, tickets and earnings all work as usual.
Ran it privately for one person? You can open the remaining places to everyone afterwards. The room is already booked.
Walk-in payments
Someone turns up who never booked. Take the money there and then, without sending them off to download anything - and without counting cash or carrying a card reader.
Card- 1.Create a payment link, or show the QR code on your phone.
- 2.They pay from their own phone with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card - no app, no account, nothing to install.
- 3.Attach it to the class and they appear on your roll call. It lands in your earnings like any other booking.
No change to find, no IOUs, no chasing anyone afterwards. Anything not yet attached to a class waits in your queue, so a payment taken at the door does not get forgotten.
One queue for both
Requests waiting on an answer and payments waiting to be attached sit in the same list, in the app and in the host web portal, with search, filters and sorting. Deal with something and it drops off.
Getting paid is the easy part
However somebody books - ahead of time, by asking for a date, or by turning up - they pay the same way, and you never touch a card.
