HobbiHopp provides an online platform that connects Hosts with Attendees for in-person hobby and creative classes. The Service allows users to:
While HobbiHopp facilitates connections between Hosts and Attendees, we do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the quality, safety, or legality of the classes offered. Hosts are independent contractors and are solely responsible for their classes.
Attendees are encouraged to use their own judgment when selecting classes. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept that any transactions or interactions between Hosts and Attendees are conducted at your own risk.
HobbiHopp offers various membership options designed to suit the diverse needs of our users. These options include:
Users must provide valid payment information to purchase credits or subscribe to a membership plan. By purchasing credits or subscribing, you authorize HobbiHopp to charge your selected payment method for any applicable fees.
Our subscription plans provide a convenient and cost-effective way to access classes on a recurring basis. Subscription plans may vary in terms of credit allocations, pricing, and benefits. Key features of subscription plans include:
HobbiHopp reserves the right to modify subscription offerings, pricing, or benefits with reasonable notice to users.
HobbiHopp Credits are the virtual currency used to book classes on the platform. Credits may be obtained through:
The cost of classes is displayed in credits, with values set by individual Hosts. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other users except as explicitly permitted by HobbiHopp.
HobbiHopp reserves the right to adjust credit pricing at any time, which will apply to future purchases. Any credits already purchased will retain their original value.
Unused credits may roll over from one billing cycle to the next, subject to the following conditions:
If a subscription is canceled or expires, any unused subscription credits will be forfeited 30 days after the end of the final billing period unless otherwise specified.
Credits may be subject to expiration under certain circumstances. The following rules apply:
Expired credits cannot be reinstated. HobbiHopp will make reasonable efforts to notify users of impending credit expiration through email or in-app notifications.
All fees are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified. Users are responsible for any applicable taxes or additional charges that may apply based on their location.
HobbiHopp uses secure third-party payment processors to handle all transactions. By providing payment information, you authorize HobbiHopp to charge your payment method for any purchases, subscriptions, or applicable fees. If a payment fails, HobbiHopp may suspend or terminate access to certain features of the Service until the outstanding balance is resolved.
Users may cancel a subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription period. Credits associated with the canceled subscription will be subject to the terms outlined in Section 7 and Section 8.
Unless otherwise required by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at HobbiHopp's sole discretion in cases of technical errors or documented service failures.
HobbiHopp may offer promotional discounts, credits, or other special offers from time to time. These promotions are subject to their specific terms and conditions, which will be communicated at the time of the offer. HobbiHopp reserves the right to modify or discontinue any promotion without prior notice.
HobbiHopp may offer free trials for subscription plans. Free trials are intended to allow new users to experience the Service before committing to a paid subscription. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless canceled before the trial expires.
HobbiHopp gift cards may be purchased and redeemed for credits on the platform. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards may be subject to expiration, which will be specified at the time of purchase.
Users may submit content to the Service, including reviews, photos, and messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant HobbiHopp a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Service.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. HobbiHopp does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any User Content. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content and that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
Attendees may leave reviews and ratings for classes they have attended. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and respectful. HobbiHopp reserves the right to remove or modify reviews that:
Hosts may respond to reviews, but responses must also comply with our guidelines.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and audio, are the exclusive property of HobbiHopp or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without prior written consent from HobbiHopp. Unauthorized use of the Service may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.
The HobbiHopp name, logo, and all related trademarks are the property of HobbiHopp LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HobbiHopp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
HobbiHopp's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to HobbiHopp during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HobbiHopp and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
You and HobbiHopp agree to resolve any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court, except as set forth below. This agreement to arbitrate is intended to be broadly interpreted.
Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, which are available at www.adr.org. The arbitration will be held in a location convenient to you unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying HobbiHopp in writing within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must be sent to legal@hobbihopp.com.
YOU AND HOBBIHOPP AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS ACTION OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
You and HobbiHopp agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against HobbiHopp. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of the arbitration agreement shall be null and void.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware.
HobbiHopp reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and any credits or benefits associated with your account may be forfeited.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting HobbiHopp support or through your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and HobbiHopp regarding your use of the Service. These Terms supersede any prior agreements or understandings between you and HobbiHopp.
